The Columbus Wrestling Club is dedicated to providing a positive environment for the development of character and self-confidence. It is our goal to provide a safe and wholesome atmosphere, where kids can learn to wrestle and practice the ideals of sportsmanship, scholarship, and physical fitness, all while having fun along the way.

Our program stresses learning lessons beyond the athletic arena such as self discipline, teamwork, concentration, friendship, leadership, and citizenship.

The Columbus Wrestling Club accepts kids regardless of race, creed, athletic ability, or income level. Our safe exercises, drills, and rules are there to ensure that all kids are physically and mentally prepared for the challenges of the sport of wrestling.

Congratulations to Ben and James on qualifying to the Cliff Keen Borderwars Folkstyle National Championships. Competition will be held at the Kellogg Arena in Battle Creek, Michigan

Ben & James compete for TEAM OHIO June 8th-12th in the USA Wrestling Schoolboy National Dual Meet Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana.

2008 USA Wrestling Gold medalist takes photo at recent Beat the Streets Practice.

USA Wrestling’s 2008 Olympic Gold Medalist Henry Cejudo came in for practice on Tuesday May 31st, 2011 Henry shared many personal stories with the wrestlers and emphasized the importance of patriotism, family, believing in yourself, commitment, and living the dream! Listening to his message helped the wrestlers see that there are plenty of opportunities in this world. Henry stressed the importance of surrounding themselves around good people and making good choice can open doors and create  opportunities that can take them anywhere in life they want to go. His words were strong and reached all the kids hearts. After wards Henry took as much time as needed to shake all the wrestlers hands , take pictures, sign autographs, and answer questions. It was an amazing evening for the Beat-the–Streets- Columbus wrestlers, an evening that will be hard to forget.
